Award winning turnkey delivery 9,000 miles from Houston.
Won a United States government bid to engineer, procure, and construct an 18 megawatt power plant at Naval Air Station Guam. With only the Westinghouse W191 gas turbine supplied, GTS engineered and built the complete plant from the ground up.
Designed for unmanned operation through 180 mph typhoons and magnitude 8 earthquakes. State of the art for 1989. GTS received a United States Navy excellence award. Admiral Larson performed the opening ceremony.

Retrofitted 22 GT 22 turbines with OPTO 22 control systems and upgraded pipeline compressors with John Crane dry seals along the 850 mile Waxahachie to Katy line, the largest gas pipeline in Texas.
